Email automation for “a user's membership has expired”

There are a few different and helpful options in the automation settings so far.
However, I am unable to automatically inform a user when their membership has expired. Some members cancel and membership continues for several weeks or even months [for annual memberships].
I would like to point this out to these members so that I can reactivate them. It would be helpful to be able to set the time period to x days “before” and “after” the expiry date.

Hi Kirsten Hanser -- that works! On the one hand, there is a trigger for “User has cancelled membership” i.e. when the cancellation has been submitted but is still ongoing and for “Membership ended”, d.h when the membership has expired. You should be able to achieve your goals with both.
