A good strategy for winback offers of churning members is to make them a special, cheaper deal using a hidden plan. However, we currently don't allow users that are in trial to switch plans. Ending the trial early by cancelling means people lose their trial days.

If users could keep their trial days and switch immediately, this would enable these kind of winback (and also upsell) campaigns.
